Tool Rentals

Tool libraries don’t always have very large, specialized and expensive tools for borrowing, but you can often rent them for a fraction of the price of buying the tool!

Materials

There are a growing number of businesses saving good quality materials from being wasted in landfills. Types of materials these businesses sell can vary from range from furniture and appliances to tools and wood. You can find real gems, save items from going to the landfill and save yourself a lot of money!

Know How

These are organizations that help you learn different skills. We want to empower you with these resources, which hope to show you that you truly can Do It Yourself!

Energy & Environment

Learn more about the environment, ways to conserve energy and ways to rely on sustainable resources that reduce your environmental footprint while saving you money in the long term!

Recycling and Disposal

The last prong of reduce and reuse is recycle. Only recycle or send items to landfills if you (or someone else) can no longer use the items. Recycling can be complicated, so it is important to learn how to properly recycle each item so that it does not end up in a landfill (or injuring a sanitation worker). These resources can help you learn about safe and proper recycling and disposal.

Seattle REconomy is a 501c3 tax-exempt nonprofit dedicated to reducing our community’s footprint and increasing our climate resilience through education and practical solutions.
